FLUSHING, N.Y., April 18, 2016 - The New York Mets today announced the return of the popular “Strikeouts for Savings” promotion when the Mets visit the Philadelphia Phillies and Atlanta Braves for the next six road games April 18-24. For each strikeout recorded by Mets pitching during both series vs. the Phillies and Braves starting tonight, April 18, fans will save 1% off the box office ticket price for select seats during the next Mets homestand April 25-May 4 when the Mets host the Reds, Giants and Braves.
Through this limited time offer, fans will save on the purchase price for tickets to games April 25-May 4 on a first-come, first-serve basis for the following sections: Baseline Box, Budweiser Landing and Promenade Outfield. For example, if Mets pitchers record 50 strikeouts, fans save 50%, 40 strikeouts would result in a 40% discount, etc. The more strikeouts Mets pitchers record, the greater savings for fans.
Tickets for this promotion will be based on availability and go on sale within one hour after the conclusion of the Mets-Braves game this Sunday, April 24 at mets.com/strikeouts.
Tickets also will be available over the phone Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m., or until the end of the fifth inning on home game days, by calling 718-507-TIXX. All prices will round to the nearest dollar using traditional rounding techniques and delivery fees still apply.
