Mets: Runs Equals Savings

RUNS = $AVINGS: TOTAL RUNS SCORED BY METS DURING
GAMES IN LOS ANGELES AND COLORADO MAY 9-15 WILL DETERMINE
PERCENTAGE OFF BOX OFFICE TICKET PRICE FOR SELECT SEATS
DURING MAY 17-22 HOMESTAND AT CITI FIELD

FLUSHING, N.Y., May 9, 2016 - The New York Mets today announced their “Runs = $avings” promotion starts tonight when the Mets visit the Los Angeles Dodgers and Colorado Rockies for the next seven road games May 9-15. For each run scored by the Mets during both series vs. the Dodgers and Rockies, fans will save 1% off the box office ticket price for select seats during the next Mets homestand May 17-22 when the Mets host the Washington Nationals and Milwaukee Brewers.

The Mets have averaged 4.4 runs per game in their 30 games this season. The more runs the Mets score, the greater savings for fans. For example, if the Mets score 30 runs over the course of the seven games, fans will save 30 percent off select seats. Tickets for this promotion will go on sale approximately 30 minutes following the conclusion of Sunday afternoon’s game at Colorado at mets.com/runs.

The offer concludes on May 22. In addition to mets.com/runs, tickets are also available over the phone Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m., or until one hour after first pitch on home game days, by calling 718-507-TIXX. Tickets for this promotion will be located in Baseline Box, Budweiser Landing and Promenade Outfield seating only and are available while supplies last.
