BARTOLO COLÓN: Exited the game with a right thumb contusion...X-Rays were negative...Was struck by a comebacker off the bat of Whit Merrifield (the first batter of the game)...The 0.1 inning of work is the shortest start of Colon's career, passing his previous shortest mark of 0.2 innings, which happened twice (most recently, July 14, 2011 while pitching for the Yankees at Toronto).
