Rockies (52-52) vs. Mets (53-50)



ATTENDANCE: Tonight's sellout crowd of 42,207 is the sixth sellout of the season...The Mets had seven sellouts in 2015, the most in a single-season in Citi Field history.



SERIES NOTES: The Rockies are 6-0 vs. the Mets this year after New York went 7-0 vs. Colorado in 2015...The Mets entered this year with an 11-game winning streak vs. the Rockies.



METSCELLANEOUS: The Mets have lost four in a row and five of their last six...The four-game losing streak matches a season-high...It's the fourth time this season the Mets have lost four consecutive games, last occurring from June 26-29...New York is now 6-9 since the All-Star break...The Mets are 1-8 in their last nine home games dating to July 8 and are 27-25 at Citi Field this season.



OFFENSE: The Mets have scored 40 runs since the All-Star break, the fewest in the majors...New York has scored four runs over its last 29.0 innings.



YOENIS CÉSPEDES: Left tonight's game as a precaution.



WILMER FLORES: Drove in the game's first run with his RBI single in the first inning and now has 14 RBI this month...The 14 RBI match the most in a month in Flores' career...He also drove in 14 in May, 2015.



JUSTIN RUGGIANO: Was signed today by New York and made the start in centerfield in tonight's game...His last game in centerfield came on May 25, 2015 at Tampa Bay (while playing for Seattle).



BARTOLO COLÓN: Worked 5.0 innings and allowed five runs, earned, and suffered his sixth loss of the season...Struck out four and walked one...Was the sixth start of his career on three-days rest and first since 2005...Was his fifth career start versus Colorado...Is 2-2 with a 9.36 ERA (26 earned runs/25.0 innings) in those five career starts.



RECENT ROCKIES: The Rockies are 12-4 since the All-Star break, the best record in the majors since the break and have won five consecutive games to match their longest winning streak of the season...Colorado has won nine of its last 10 games and has reached the .500 mark at 52-52 with one game remaining in July...The last time the Rockies were .500 or better after 104 games was in 2010 (54-50)..This month, the Rockies are 14-11 and will finish with a better than .500 record in the month of July for the first time since 2009 when they went 15-11 in the month.



ROCKIES QUALITY STARTS: Tonight's quality start by Jorge De La Rosa was the 19th this month by Colorado pitching, matching a franchise high for a single month...The only other time they've recorded 19 quality starts in a single month in team history was June, 2009.



ROCKIES' SACRIFICE FLIES: Colorado had two sacrifice flies in the top of the seventh inning...It is the 19th time in franchise history that the Rockies have hit two sacrifice flies in the same inning...The last time it occurred was May 7, 2014 in the top of the fourth inning at Texas.







JORGE DE LA ROSA: Tossed 6.0 innings and allowed two runs, earned, and earned his seventh win of the season...Struck out four and walked two...Was the 100th win of his career...He is the fifth pitcher born in Mexico to reach the 100-win plateau...The other four are Fernando Valenzuela (173 wins), Esteban Loaiza (126 wins), Yovani Gallardo (105 wins) and Ismael Valdez (104 wins)...Was his eighth quality start of the season and his seventh since rejoining the rotation on June 14...Over his last nine starts since June 14, De La Rosa is 5-3 with a 3.54 ERA (21 earned runs/53.1 innings).



DAVID DAHL: Connected on a two-run homer in the fourth that put the Rockies ahead...Was his second career home run...Has hit safely in each of his first six major league games since being called up on Monday, July 25...Is batting .348 (8-23) with two home runs, three RBI and four runs scored.



CARLOS GONZALEZ: Had a double in the fourth inning to extend his hitting streak to a season high 12 games...The 12-game streak is his longest since a 21-game hitting streak from September 23, 2015-April 16, 2016...Is batting .333 (14-42) during the run...The 12-game streak is tied for the second-longest by a Rockies player this season (Nolan Arenado had a 12-game hitting streak from June 18-29)...The longest hitting streak by a Rockies player this season is 14 games, accomplished by Charlie Blackmon from July 5-22.



TREVOR STORY: Left tonight's game with a jammed left thumb...X-rays were negative.
