FLUSHING, N.Y., August 1, 2016 – The New York Mets today announced the club has recalled infielder Matt Reynolds from Las Vegas (AAA) of the Pacific Coast League. Reynolds will wear #15 and will be available for tonight’s game.
Reynolds, 25, was also with the Mets from May 17-May 29 and June 3-July 5. He is hitting .233 (10-43) with five doubles, one home run and six RBI in 27 games in his first season in the majors. Reynolds is 5-15 (.333) vs. lefthanders.
Reynolds was batting .234 (46-197) with 10 doubles, two home runs and 15 RBI in 51 games with Las Vegas.
