The Mets just can't get away from hucksters.... and it seems they weren't even involved!

A New Jersey man who scammed investors by falsifying vendor contracts with the Mets — even going so far as to forge team COO Jeffrey Wilpon’s name — was sentenced to four years behind bars Wednesday.
Fraudster Michael Conway, who used the money from his fake office supply company to party in luxury suites at Citi Field, must also undergo drug treatment, and cough up the $4.7 million he stole for restitution.
