A few of us over the last couple of years said Harvey wanted to be the "Hero" but turned out to be the villain. I think he failed as the hero because he tried to make himself into a brand without earning it.
It Looks like the Iron Sheik might have gotten to Harvey...

The humbling.
“There’s two kinds of players: Those who are humbled and those who will be,” Terry Collins said Monday at Tradition Field. “And Matt got humbled last year a little bit. He’s bound and determined to do it to somebody else this year.”
