In Major League Baseball he is a
Baltimore Orioles record
since December 2011 while in his
native Venezuela he plays for Magellan Navigators.

worn the jersey of other teams like the
Tigres de Aragua,
the Sharks of La Guaira, and Caribes de Anzoategui in the
2010-2011 season, a team he he
lped win his
first title in twenty years of history,
but only Has done as a
reinforcement for the round robin and the final.
Chavez battles and defends the left-hander, is considered a
good fielder, has speed, a great
arm and ability to connect hits to all parts of the field.
He is well known for a great
play he made in the seventh game of the National League
Championship Series in 2006.
In his first six seasons, Chavez hit .269 with
15 homers and 148 RBI in 569 games.
Endy's brother Ender Chavez has played in the minor
leagues with the New York Mets,
Montreal Expos and Washington Nationals, and currently

Minor Leagues [edit]
Chavez made his minor league debut in 1996 with the Mets in the New
York Mets affiliate rookie league. In his
first season with the team, he hit .354 in 48 games.
He played in the next four years in
organizing the Mets with Kingsport Mets, Gulf Coast Mets,
Capital City Bombers and
St. Lucie Mets. On March 30, 2001, Chavez
was traded from
the Mets to the Kansas City Royals. In 2001
Chavez played for the Wichita
Wranglers and the Omaha Royals before making his debut with the Royals.
In 2002, Chavez with the Montreal Expos, played for the Ottawa
Lynx. With Ottawa, Chávez went to
the All-Star in the International League in 2002.
Chávez finished in 2004
with the Edmonton Trappers. In 2005,
Chavez played with the
New Orleans Zephyrs in Triple-A affiliated with the Montreal
Expos, now known as the Washington Nationals.
