This auction is for a Russell "Game Used" Binghamton Mets Jersey (#49). Mets name sewn across chest. The number "49" with Jerry Reuss autograph on left front side of jersey. Name and number on back of jersey. Purchased after the 2004 season directly from the Binghamton Mets. Adult Size XXL.The Binghamton Mets have changed their name in 2017 to the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, so this jersey is now a rare piece of baseball history. Jerry Reuss pitched in the Major Leagues for 22 years He played for eight teams which included the St. Louis Cardinals, the Astros, the Pirates, the Dodgers, the Reds, the Angels, the White Sox, the Brewers and finished with the Pirates. He won 220 games, threw a no-hitter, played in two All-Star games and pitched in the World Series for the Dodgers. In 2004, he was the "AA" Eastern League pitching coach for the New York Mets in Binghamton, NY. The condition is Excellent with no tears. THIS ITEM IS GAME USED. Baseball card not included.
