JAY BRUCE: Has nine home runs and 25 RBI in 123 at-bats this year...He had eight home runs and 19 RBI in 169 at-bats with the Mets last year...
Bruce is tied for ninth in the NL with nine homers and is tied for 11th in the NL with 25 RBI...Over his last 19 games, Bruce is batting .280 (21-75) with 12 runs scored, eight doubles, five homers and 17 RBI.

HANSEL ROBLES: Has tossed a career-best 13.1 scoreless innings with 14 strikeouts dating to April 13...Lefthanders are 1-19 (.053) vs. him...He has four wins, tied for the seventh-most in the majors and leads all major league relievers.

STRANDED: Jerry Blevins stranded one inherited runner last night...His 15 inherited runners lead the majors...Josh Edgin is second with 14 stranded runners.

REED SETS RECORD: Addison Reed has 22 strikeouts and has not walked a batter this year...He has appeared in 18 games, the most such games without issuing a walk to begin the year in team history.

LUCAS DUDA: Went 2-4 with a home run, one RBI, two runs scored and a walk while playing 9.0 innings at first base last night in fourth rehabilitation game for St. Lucie (A) vs. Lakeland...Duda is 3-13 (.231) with a home run and one RBI in four rehab games.

SCHEDULE UPDATE: The Braves announced a make-up date for the May 4 rainout...The Mets and Braves will now play a split day/night doubleheader on Saturday, June 10...Game one will start at 1:00 p.m. and game two will begin at 6:00 p.m.

2018 BRIDGESTONE NHL WINTER CLASSIC: The NHL announced that the New York Rangers and Buffalo Sabres will play the 2018 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic on January 1, 2018 at CIti Field...The game will air live on NBC...Ticket information will be announced in the coming weeks...The iconic New Year’s Day game has previously been held at Wrigley Field (2009), Fenway Park (2010), Citizens Bank Park (2012), Nationals Park (2015) and Busch Stadium in St. Louis (2017).

GIANTS-METS NOTES: The Mets are 9-13 vs. the Giants at Citi Field during the regular season since 2011...New York lost last year's one-game NL Wild Card Game to San Francisco, 3-0 on October 5 at Citi Field.
