METSCELLANEOUS: New York has dropped four straight...It's the club's third losing streak of four or more games this year... The Mets had five such streaks all of last year...New York is 8-7 in its last 15 games.

MAY: The Mets are 6-6 in May...New York leads the majors with 81 runs scored this month...The Mets also are tied for second in the majors with a .290 batting average and are third with a .369 on- base percentage in May.

DOUBLES: The Mets have collected 48 doubles since April 27 (16 games), the most in the majors over that span...Overall, the Mets are tied for eighth in the majors with Arizona with 69 doubles.

ON THE ROAD: New York is 8-8 on the road this year...The Mets have lost three straight road games after being swept in Milwaukee...New York posted winning records on their two road trips this season...They are 0-3 on this six-game trip so far...New York went 43-38 on the road in 2016.

HOME RUNS: The Mets are tied for eighth in the majors with 49 home runs...The Mets have hit at least one home run in 27 of their 36 games this year.

ROAD HOMERS: The Mets have hit at least one home run in 14 of their 16 road games...The only road games the Mets did not go deep this year was April 16 at Miami and May 3 at Atlanta...The Mets have 31 road home runs, the second-most in the majors ...San Diego is first (34).

NEIL WALKER: Is hitting .360 (18-50) with six doubles, one triple, two home runs, 12 RBI and 10 runs scored in 12 games in May... He has a .429 on-base percentage this month...Walker is tied for first in the NL with six doubles in May, is sixth with 12 RBI and 10th with his .360 batting average...He hit .195 (17-87) in April.

SIX STRAIGHT: Neil Walker has hit in six straight games with three consecutive multi-hit efforts, going 12-26 (.462) with six extra-base hits and 10 RBI during that span.

MICHAEL CONFORTO: Has started 19 career games in the leadoff spot (all this year) and has hit three leadoff homers... Conforto is hitting .471 (8-17) with four total home runs, six RBI, 10 runs scored and six walks in the first-inning this year... In 24 starts this season, Conforto is batting .340 (32-94) with nine home runs, 22 RBI and 24 runs scored.

SINGLE SHORT OF CYCLE: Conforto went 3-4 with a career- high four runs scored and tied his career-high with three RBI yesterday in Milwaukee...Conforto finished with a double, triple and a home run...The last Met to hit for the cycle was Scott Hairston, April 27, 2012 at Colorado...It was the ninth time in team history a player fell a single shy of the cycle, last by David Wright on June 23, 2013 at Philadelphia...Gregg Jefferies had three such games during his Mets career.

WELCOME HOME: Mets third base coach Glenn Sherlock coached on the Diamondbacks staff from their inception in 1998 through 2016...Mets hitting coach Kevin Long resides in Scottsdale and was named second team All-American at the University of Arizona in 1989...Addison Reed pitched for the Dbacks from 2014-2015 and notched 32 saves in 2014.

ROAD SERIES OPENERS: New York is 4-1 in the first game of a road series this season.
ZACK WHEELER: Has allowed one earned run in three of his last four starts...He has posted a 2.78 ERA (seven earned runs/22.2 innings) with 21 strikeouts in his last four starts...Wheeler has allowed six of his 16 runs this year in the first-inning...Wheeler reached his 300th career strikeout in his last start vs. San Francisco (his 55th career start)...He became the seventh pitcher in club history to record 300 or more strikeouts in 55 or fewer starts, joining Dwight Gooden, Noah Syndergaard, Matt Harvey, Jacob deGrom, Sid Fernandez and Nolan Ryan.

T.J. RIVERA: Has eight RBI in his last nine games...In his last 15 games, Rivera is batting .356 (21-59) with 12 runs scored, seven doubles, one home run and nine RBI...He has reached base in 12 straight games (.434 OBP)...Rivera is batting .322 (57- 177) in his major league career (56 games).
RENÉ RIVERA: Has hit in a career high-tying eight straight games, going 14-33 (.424) with eight RBI...Rivera has multi-hit games in five of those contests...Rivera also hit in eight consecutive games from August 31-September 25, 2013...He is batting .323 with 10 RBI this year...Rivera's .323 batting average is the fourth-highest in the majors this year among catchers with 50 or more at-bats.

CATCHING UP: Mets catchers have 29 RBI this year, tied with Houston for the most in the majors.

JAY BRUCE: Is tied for eighth in the NL with 10 homers and is tied for 11th in the NL with 26 RBI...Bruce has three homers and 10 RBI this month (11 games).
