SETH LUGO: The Mets have won 13 of Lugo's last 15 starts dating to August 25, 2016...Lugo is 10-2 with a 3.40 ERA (34 earned runs/90.0 innings pitched) over that 15-start span...Lugo is 7-2 with a 3.69 ERA (26 earned runs/63.1 innings) in 14 career games, nine starts on the road...Lugo has pitched at least 5.0 innings in each of his 16 starts in the major leagues...The only other Mets pitchers to go 5.0 innings or longer in each of the first 16 starts of their career were Matt Harvey (first 44 starts) and Bill Pulsipher (first 17 starts).

THE PEN: New York's bullpen tossed 6.1 scoreless innings during this series...The pen is 4-0 with five saves and a 2.37 ERA (10 earned runs/38.0 innings) since July 18.

ADDISON REED: Has saved 13 straight chances and is 19-for-21 in save opportunities...He is eighth in the NL in saves... Reed’s 8-to-1 strikeout-to-walk ratio this season (48 strikeouts, six walks) is the fourth-highest among pitchers with 15 or more saves this year...Reed has allowed four runs in his last 23.1 innings (1.54 ERA) and eight runs over his last 36.0 innings (2.00 ERA).

deNOTES: Jacob deGrom registered his eighth double-digit strikeout game this year yesterday...That is tied for the sixth- most such games in a single season in team history and the most since David Cone also had eight games with 10 or more strikeouts in 1992.

ASDRÚBAL CABRERA: Is batting .302 (19-63) with four doubles, one homer, six RBI and 12 runs scored since the All-Star break (16 games)...Cabrera has gone 10-26 (.385) in the first six games of this road trip.

JOSÉ REYES: Is hitting .313 (30-96) with eight doubles, three triples, three home runs and 14 RBI and 12 runs scored in his last 27 games (since June 27)...Over his last 37 games, dating to June 16, Reyes is batting .292 (38-130) with eight doubles, four triples, six home runs, 19 RBI and 16 runs scored...Swiped his 500th career stolen base on Monday.

JAY BRUCE: Has seven homers and 17 RBI over his last 19 contests dating to July 4...Bruce is tied for third in the NL and tied for seventh in the majors with 27 homers...Bruce is tied for fifth in the NL with seven home runs in the month of July...He also has 18 RBI this month, tied for the eighth-most in the NL.

AJ RAMOS: Has recorded 92 saves over the last three seasons (32 in 2015, 40 in 2016, 20 in 2017), the fifth-most in the majors behind Kenley Jansen (110), Mark Melancon (109), Jeurys Familia (97) and Craig Kimbrel (95).
