I think the Mets shouldn't even in any way possible consider a thought about bringing him back. What does he bring to the team? Leadership?( I've always felt he was selfish. Batting title and signing with the Marlins at 12:01 am.) Makes a team better? (Check out all the teams he has been on records after the acquire him. They usually go from being good to mediocre/bad). He isn't the same player. His range is limited, his hitting is meh, and he is "old". Wright and Reyes should have a joint press conference and retire together at this point.
