Federal Ban on Sports Gambling Lifted

By repealing the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act (PASPA), the Supreme Court opens the door for any state to legalize sports betting.

New Jersey, which brought the case in July 2017, is expected to be the first state to take advantage of the ruling. Its law allows sports gambling at its Atlantic City casinos and at its racetracks.

This is going to be very interesting for all sports leagues now especially with rumors that some MLB execs have been talking with some companies about betting.
