 Subway Series: The Mets snapped a six-game losing streak vs. the Yankees to improve to 47-68 all-time in the series during the regular season...Prior to tonight's victory, the last Mets win in the Subway Series was August 4, 2016 at Yankee Stadium.
 Shutouts in the Subway Series: Tonight was the seventh time the Mets have blanked the Yankees during the Subway Series and first time since shutting out the Yankees, 4-0, at Yankee Stadium on June 18, 2010 (Hisanori Takahashi earned the win in that game)...It's the first time the Mets have blanked the Yankees in Queens since June 15, 2002 (an 8-0 win)...The other Mets shutouts in the Subway Series are June 15, 2007 (2-0), July 7, 2001 (3-0 in 10.0 innings), July 9, 2000 (2-0) and June 16, 1997 (6-0).

 Metscellaneous: The Mets snapped a season-high eight-game losing streak and ended a 10-game slide at home, the longest in Citi Field history (2009-present)...The Mets are 13-21 at home this season.
 Shutouts: The Mets posted their fourth shutout of the season and third at Citi Field.
 Interleague Play: The Mets are 2-5 in Interleague action this year...Since 1997, when Interleague play began, the Mets are 187-182 (.507)...The .507 Interleague winning percentage is the best all-time among NL clubs.
 Mets Homers: The Mets hit one home run tonight and have 18 homers in their last 16 games, 14 of which have been solo home runs...Todd Frazier's home run tonight came with two strikes, giving the team 27 home runs this year with two strikes...The 27 such homers are tied for most in the NL with Milwaukee.
