METS AND NEW YORK BLOOD CENTER TO HOST BLOOD DRIVE JULY 2 AT CITI FIELD AMIDST NEW YORK BLOOD EMERGENCY
WHAT: The New York Mets will host their annual summer Blood Drive on Monday, July 2 amidst a New York Blood Center (NYBC) declared blood emergency. Fans are encouraged to help replenish the community’s blood supply by donating blood from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Foxwoods Club at Citi Field.
Donors must be 17 years of age (16 with parental permission), weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good health. Fans donating blood will receive a voucher redeemable for two tickets to a select 2018 Mets home game.
WHEN: Monday, July 2
11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Mr. Met in attendance from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
WHERE: Foxwoods Club at Citi Field
Fans and media may park in Lot G off 126th Street between the Right Field Gate and Roosevelt Avenue and enter through the Hodges VIP entrance.
