ROSTER MOVE: The Mets recalled RHP Paul Sewald from Las Vegas (AAA) of the Pacific Coast League and placed LHP Jerry Blevins on the Bereavement List (grandmother)...Sewald will wear #51 and will be available for tonight's game...He is 0-4 with a 4.85 ERA (21 earned runs/39.0 innings) in 26 games with the Mets this season...Sewald went 3-0 with a 1.80 ERA (one earned run/5.0 innings) in four games with the 51s after he was optioned for the first time on June 22.
FUTURES GAME: First baseman Peter Alonso and shortstop Andres Gimenez will represent the Mets at the 2018 SiriusXM Futures Game on Sunday, July 15 at Nationals Park...Alonso, 23, will play for Team USA...He is hitting a combined .287 (82-286) with 15 doubles, 19 homers, 69 RBI and a .421 OBP in 85 games between Binghamton (AA) of the Eastern League and Las Vegas (AAA) of the Pacific Coast League...Gimenez, 19, will play for the World Team...He is batting .269 (72-268) with 17 doubles, three triples, five homers, 26 RBI and a .342 OBP in 75 games with St. Lucie (A) of the Florida State League.

HONORING RUSTY STAUB: Mets Hall of Famer Rusty Staub passed away on March 29 at age 73... The Mets will wear a patch on the right sleeve on their home and away uniforms during the 2018 season honoring Staub...A six-time All-Star, he had 2,716 hits and 292 homers during his 23-year career.

FIRST PITCH: Hailey Dawson, 8, will throw out tonight's ceremonial first pitch...Hailey was born with Poland Syndrome, a birth defect that caused her to be born with three missing fingers...She will be wearing a Mets-themed 3D robotic hand... Her goal is to throw out a first pitch for each MLB team...The Mets are her 19th team...Hailey has played one season of baseball so far and is looking forward to playing softball.
