Mets: Mickey Watch Watch. Mickey Watching himself.

I am borrowing this idea from my cousin over at Metspolice just for today. In the NY POST, Callaway is basically watching reporters watching him watch himself with this horrible season and Sandy Anderson stepping down.

From the NY POST.

Then came the natural inclination for Mickey Callaway, a first-year manager, to wonder what it meant for his own future.
“That definitely went through my head,” Callaway said earlier this week. “The guy who brought me in, and I think we were very aligned for what we wanted for the future in this organization, so it definitely entered my mind.”
Though the Mets are struggling through a disastrous season and now trying to reorganize under a three-headed leadership structure in the front office — assistant GM John Ricco and special assistants Omar Minaya and J.P. Ricciardi are the components — Callaway, who received a three-year contract from the club last October, appears safe to at least finish this season. Multiple team sources have indicated to The Post it’s unlikely Callaway would be scapegoated for the team’s woes — the Mets will begin play Friday against the Rays at 34-49, well removed from the playoff picture.

So now Callaway is looking more over his shoulder then he would have if Alderson was still there. I don't think the Mets make a manager change after this season even with a "New" GM.  I wonder what will happen.
