Binghamton Mets Team Signed Jersey 2008

2008 BINGHAMTON METS ~ GAME USED / GAME WORN JERSEY

EYE-CATCHING PATRIOTIC STARS & STRIPES THEME JERSEY

WORN BY PITCHER BOBBY PARNELL # 39

AUTOGRAPHED BY THE ENTIRE TEAM (NEARLY 40 SIGNATURES)
About this jersey...

This auction is for an eye-catching BINGHAMTON METS Game Used Jersey, worn by pitcher BOBBY PARNELL during the 2008 season. Parnell would later have success at the Major League level, pitching for the New York Mets from 2008-2015 and the Detroit Tigers in 2016. Parnell had an upper 90s fastball and spent many of his Mets years as their closer.

The jersey is an eye-catching white button-down jersey, with a special red white and deep blue Mets logo featuring 2 stars. There are red and blue accents along both sides of the jersey, and a special embrioidred patch on each sleeve: the left sleeve contains a special red white and blue version of the New York Mets slyline patch, and the right sleeve contains a patch with two crossed American flags. The lower right corner of the jersey features the Jersey Express manufacturer tag. The size tag is in the neckline of the jersey and indicates that the jersey is a size XXL. The back contains a special patriotic #39 in red white and blue twill, and each number containing a star.

More important than the game use on this jersey is the fact that the entire team signed it! Close to 40 autographs are featured on the back of the jersey, including perennial Major League All-Star DANIEL MURPHY, Manager Marco Oliveras, Pitching Coach Ricky Bones, Hitting Coach Luis Natera, Pitcher Bobby Parnell, and many other players. I can also make out the following signatures: Rafael Arroyo, Edgar Alfonzo, Caleb Stewart, Mike Nickeas, German Marte, Jose Sanchez, Eric Brown, Mike Carp, Tobi Stoner, and Eddie Kunz.

The jersey shows light use, as would be expected for a special theme night jersey. It is extremely eye-catching, and would be a fantastic one to frame due to all of the signatures. Would make a GREAT addition to any Mets fan's collection!
