I like Figgy in the role he had since he replace Bobby Ojeda. It was great getting former player who is closer to today's games opinion

Read more here.The team’s pre- and postgame shows on SNY will have a new lead analyst, as Todd Zeile is replacing Nelson Figueroa, according to sources. The 53-year-old Zeile has been a longtime favorite of Mets owner Jeff Wilpon.Figueroa, 44, is expected to remain with the network in a still-undefined role. He could pop up on the pre- and postgame some, like Jim Duquette does on occasion, as the third man on the show. SNY also has its daily “Baseball Night in New York” and “SportsNite,” where Figueroa likely could appear.SNY declined comment.Gary Apple is expected to remain as the Mets’ pre- and postgame host.
Supposedly Figgy is still employed by the network and will be popping in and out of shows. I've met Figgy a few times and he even stopped by the Gotham set. He's a good guy and very knowledgeable of the game.
