For the Mets, it always comes back to injuries, doesn't it. Hey we have depth this season! That is until the whole team gets maligned with injuries. Cespedes, Frazier, Lowrie all hurt. I just want to know who gets back on the field first. What wouldn't surprise me is due to the oblique strain or whatever you want to call Frazier's injury, we don't see him until June.
Read more here.“Obviously, this is far from an ideal situation,’’ Lowrie said Tuesday morning at First Data Field in Port St. Lucie. “But all I can do at this point is focus on what I do today to get better to help the team win over the long haul. That’s what it is all about.’’Lowrie (sprained left knee capsule) called his recovery “a marathon,’’ while Frazier took a small step forward Tuesday by running for the first time. Frazier called it the first part of the first phase of his return.“We talked about three phases before I can start doing live game stuff,’’ Frazier said. “It’s a progression. I started running and then I’ll move to throwing and [taking] ground balls.’’After that, Frazier (oblique strain) will need to move on to running the bases and hitting off a tee.
