The post I wrote the other day about @Aramarksports and @Mets possibly needing to train their staff better sparked off some conversations about Citi Field on twitter.... Here's the post so you can catch up on what I wrote. Click here.
That post had a few replies...
And while we are at it, the team has gone back to not giving a fuck about family bathrooms. The other night a line of 3 dudes so I walk with my son right up to the door, 2 of the guys scatter, the third says he’s next. So I told him I’ll have my son piss on his face if he’s next— tom (@MetsBlogLover) April 30, 2019
I’ll add that on OD Empire Craft Beer on field level had one lady working the stand. By the 3rd inning when I tried to go back, they had a shake shack size line. Even dedicating one more person to take $$ would improve that. Not at all her fault. She had to do everything herself.— stephen (@tolsT7L) April 30, 2019
Then it went to a subject we have talked about before. STOP USING THE FAMILY BATHROOMS IF YOU AREN'T WITH A FAMILY.
I went to take my son to the family bathroom near section 124 on OD. There was about 6 guys waiting on line. I asked a security supervisor that was close by if he could say something. He said they are “absolutely” not allowed to as a directive from above them.— stephen (@tolsT7L) April 30, 2019
This has got to be worked on. You have security walking around the concourse. No reason why they can't shoo away these adults that are on a "short" line. And for the adults that do this and then complain when an actual family needs to use the bathroom, you guys should realize the folly of your ways..
One of the things that I have complained about in the past seems to have stuck in a positive way. The ushers are still holding folks from walking back down to their seats during an at bat after the third inning. I am pleased that is still being a policy that is being enforced.
