This Cano/Diaz trade has been a tire fire. Mickey is their "guy" until he's not. What day do you predict he's gone?

As you’ve heard from previous conversations and comments that I have made publicly is that Mickey has my full vote of confidence, he’s our manager and this is a scenario where we want to continue to give Mickey the best resources and the best coaching staff to be able to help him achieve those goals.’’
The best resources would be more talent and a shutdown bullpen.
Evidently, this move was made to bring more harmony to the front office and coaching staff, particularly assistant GM/Systematic Development Adam Guttridge with the coaching staff. Maybe more front office control, too.
Van Wagenen pointed to the bullpen as the sticking point and the reason Eiland was relieved of his duties with a year and a half to go on his contract.
That is the same bullpen Van Wagenen reshuffled this year, signing Jeurys Familia to a three-year $30 million deal and bringing in Edwin Diaz as the closer for the high cost of top prospects Jarred Kelenic and Justin Dunn plus taking on Robinson Cano’s contract.
