Will the Mets actually be sold?

I have been wanting to get this joke out of the way all day yesterday but didn't have a chance to, so here it goes. I guess the Wilpons doing a Mets Fan Fest finally broke them. Or was it the billboard? Maybe the Sell the Team shirts? I don't know. But I will tell you this, I won't believe it until I see it officially done.

What is making the Wilpons who are Sterling Equities and real estate developers at heart looking to get out of the "ball" game? Were the banking on that second mall where Shea Stadium stood to actually happen? What's going on with 126th Street Development? I think that is where folks should be looking at. Have the Wilpons given up over there in their real estate dealings? What about the reports that they didn't pay their share into the Belmont Arena yet? I am finding a lot of things curious about this whole situation. Remember that whole Einhorn thing about 8 years ago when the Wilpons were going to sell him a piece of the team and then said nope...Ain't gonna do it. There is a whole lot of stuff floating around out there in the ether.
