I know I have folks that are in the film industry who read my blog. I came across this today. I work in the industry and I am really sitting not he edge of my seat to see what is the plan with our business in the future.

Schiff was one of the congressional leaders who championed CARES Act relief for freelance and contract workers, who make up a large portion of the entertainment industry. At this critical juncture in our nation’s history, SAG-AFTRA and IATSE will join Congressman Schiff at a virtual town hall to discuss the impact of COVID-19, future relief efforts and getting the entertainment and media industry back to work.
Schiff is currently serving his 10th term as a congressman from California, having been in office since 2001. He looks forward to hearing directly from IATSE and SAG-AFTRA members about their concerns regarding the pandemic and its impact on their day-to-day lives and economic future.
