Seems like the ARod and JLO investment group is trying to throw all the spaghetti at the wall to see what sticks and Joe Tsai isn't sticking. This looks like after seeing that folks are doubting how much money the group will have to spend to run the the team AFTER if they were to buy the team. Just look to the Marlins and Derek Jeter and his partners to see what I mean.

Joe Tsai quickly put to rest rumblings he was joining forces with Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez to try and buy the Mets.
“Sorry Twitter, it is not true,” the billionaire owner of the Nets and Liberty wrote on Saturday afternoon. “I grew up as a Mets fan and I have a lot of respect for Alex and Jennifer. But I’m not involved in bidding for the Mets. Gotta focus on basketball.” An industry insider told the Daily News’ Bill Madden that despite the names of high-profile jocks joining up with A-Rod and J-Lo, “the last thing you want at this stage of the game is more investors. It just proves the point they don’t have the money.”
