Tuesday’s Pirates-Twins game was very briefly delayed by a drone over the field in the top of the fifth inning. Umpires pulled players off the field for several minutes in the top of the fifth inning in Minnesota before the drone flew away. Pitchers in the bullpen began pegging balls at the drone before it scampered off and the game resumed, according to Twins beat reporters. The delay lasted less than five minutesRead more here.
This can't be safe. I know you can't have a drone flying within 5 miles of an Airport. Imagine if someone tried to pull that stunt in NYC? Sometimes I feel everyday folks shouldn't be able to by
technology that uses common sense to operate.
