Bella has lived an incredible life. Bella and her twin brother Meeko were born in my backyard in August of 2006. We took her in when her mother passed away in November 2006 from a racoon attack. Bella and Meeko are inseparable. They are the most loving, cuddlying and silly cats ever! We adore our babies and we need them to be together until the end!
Reasoning for the fundrasier:
Bella went to the emergency vet on 08/24 after experiencing blood in her stool, constant vomiting and noticeable weight loss. After the Sonogram the doctor found that Bella had an abornmal ultrasound: "diffuse thickening of the muscularis layer of the intestines with reverse layering, mesenteric lymph node enlargement, prominent and hyperechoic pancreas. Due to her age and deteriating health the doctor highly recommended Bella to get surgery to determine if she has gastrointestinal lymphosarcoma (cancer) or inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) right away. This is highly time sensitive according to Bella's doctor. Due to the high costs and the urgent request from the doctor to get this procedure done, we are asking for any donations to help offset the cost. Any donation is appreciated at this time.
