What to know going to Mets Home Opener today.

 

TODAY IS OUR HOME OPENER!
Welcome back! We can't wait to welcome YOU -- the world's greatest fans in sports – back Citi Field this afternoon for our home opener! 

While some things may look different, we are committed to the goal of providing all of our guests a safe and enjoyable experience. We appreciate your cooperation!

BEFORE YOU LEAVE HOME
Make sure you download the MLB Ballpark app, and complete the following steps below: 
  • Log in to ensure quick access to your digital ticket. 
The Mets will be utilizing Health Pass by CLEAR to confirm your COVID-19 test for the game. Health Pass is a free service on the CLEAR mobile app that allows you to link your COVID-19 test results for seamless entry. Download the CLEAR app before game day and enroll here to have your Health Pass ready before the game. All you'll need is a government-issued ID and your lab provider login. Be sure to complete your Health Pass before the game to show to ballpark security upon arrival. For more information on how to use Health Pass, click here.

In accordance with New York State guidelines, each attendee, 2 years and older, must present proof of one of the following:
  • Full vaccination, meaning 14 days after both doses of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or 14 days after one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
  • A negative test result from a PCR COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of the day of the game.
  • A negative test result from a COVID-19 Antigen test taken within six (6) hours of the game's scheduled start time (i.e. 1:10 p.m. for a 7:10 p.m. game).

  • Bag Policy - All backpacks, with the exception of totally clear backpacks with no obscured interior pockets, are prohibited. Purses, diaper bags that are not backpack-style, tote, drawstring and messenger-style bags along with small soft-sided coolers that do not exceed 16"x16"x8" are permitted.
  • Citi Field will be a cashless ballpark.Methods of payment will be limited to credit/debit cards and mobile payment (Apple Pay and Google Pay) and Mets Gift Cards. Cash will not be accepted at parking lots, ticket windows, concession stands and retail stores.
  • Bring your mask! - Gaiters, bandanas and face coverings with an exhalation valve are not permitted.
Gates will open 2 hours prior to the game time, and you'll be assigned a specific entrance based on your seat location. Be sure to check your digital ticket where your designated entrance will be clearly displayed. 
UPON ARRIVAL
On arrival...
  • You will undergo a contactless temperature check that must register below 100.4 degrees. 
  • A trained staff member will verify that you have completed the Fan Information Form, and that you have a negative PCR or antigen COVID-19 test result or a vaccination card showing that you are fully vaccination (meaning 14 days after both doses of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or 14 days after one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine), 
  • You will then go through security screening.
  • Your ticket(s) will then be scanned for entry 
Once inside...
  • You will be asked to wear a proper face covering over your nose and mouth at all times, except while actively eating or drinking in your assigned seat. 
  • For food and beverage and merchandise, cashless in-venue purchases will be offered via credit cards and mobile payment (Apple Pay and Google Pay) and Mets Gift Cards.
