This is a base from the milestone game in which Gary Sheffield became the 25th player in Major League history to join the exclusive 500 Home Run Club. This game used base was used as third base for the seventh through ninth innings when Sheffield hit his milestone home run. Sheffield has signed the top of this base in blue marker, adding the inscription “#10 500 HR Base”. This item comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (LH 188188) for both the game use and Sheffield’s signature and a Sheffield hologram.
