The Mets plan to alter their home white uniforms for tomorrow's Sept. 11 remembrance. Rather than "Mets," the script across the front of the jerseys will read "NEW YORK" to represent the city. The jerseys will also be tweaked to reflect the style and colors of the 2001 version.

If they do have dropshadow on Snow white pines jerseys that say New York on them, I am fine with it. It is a jersey that is representing what the Mets were wearing at the time in September of 2001. It is one of those special type of one off jerseys that they should wear for special games.
