Nelson Figueroa Raising Money for Tunnels to Towers.

Around this time every year, I’ll see a day in September that has the eerily blue, clear skies that remind me of the skies on 9/11. It’s one of those sights I will never be able to get out of my head. People are still affected by this horrible day twenty years later and still need help. Nelson Figueroa is raising money for the Tunnel to Towers foundation. Check out what Tunnel to Towers org is all about here.

Figgie is going to be having a live Amazin’ But True Podcast at Katch Astoria on Friday 9/10 to help raise money for this cause. If you can’t make it there live, you can still donate or try to win an auction here.

Receive a 90 minute pitching lesson from former New York Met, Nelson Figueroa, in a negotiable location. 

Figueroa is a former professional pitcher for 19 years. He is also a 2 time Emmy award winning Analyst with the Pre and Post game show on SNY. Currently, he co-hosts the Amazin’ But True Podcast, for the New York Post.

He played in the MLB for the Arizona Diamondbacks, Philadelphia Phillies, Milwaukee Brewers, Pittsburgh Pirates, Mets, and Houston Astros. He also played for the Uni-President 7-Eleven Lions of the Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL).

Figueroa featured a fastball topping out at 92mph, slider, curveball, changeup and a splitter.
