The wave is annoying. I have hated it since I was a kid. I want to be able to go to a game and be able to watch the game. Close one run game, “Hey! Let’s start the wave! Alonso is on the ground in the batter’s box.Let’s start the wave!” I don’t get this need to do something so stupid while an important play is happening Come on folks. When I was a kid I hated folks getting up and sitting in front of me while a I’m trying to see a play and then to miss it because folks want to do something so stupid. This also leads into me hating folks that have no baseball etiquette when they are leaving or going back to their seats. You know what I mean. Wait until the at bat is over.
These two “fans” last night who ran on the field blew my mind. Supposedly the first one was getting thrown out for throwing stuff on the field and he just said screw it and decided to run on the field. First of all why do that at all? Second of all why do it on 9/11? It’s supposed to be a day of remembrance and you are very lucky cops/security didn’t think you were more dangerous than just running onto the field for your 15 seconds of fame.
The second runner, I don’t even know why you would do something like that at all. Copy cat from the first guy? How do you think this was a good idea.
I also saw some fans pouring beer down in the the bullpen from The Coca Cola corner? Why? Why be jerks?
Fans just keep disappointing me more and more.
