What did one young Mets fan ask Our newest member of The 7 Line Army, Mets owner Steve Cohen?
You can watch it above. The young fan said he didn't like the black jerseys. Steve responded(paraphrase) that he is starting to come around on not having them and that they don't have that aura that he thought they would have.
To me, that makes it sound the vocal minority of wanting the black jerseys back didn't buy enough of them. They also aren't Mets colors. And the Mets tend to be losers to me in them. Myself and Metspolice told you guys that these jerseys weren't worth it to bring back. The tide started turning on them last season with folks that didn't like them starting to be vocal about not enjoying them. Hopefully this comes to fruition.
