Warner Bros. Discovery Sports Announces MLB on TBS Tuesday Schedule Through August
Multiple Appearances by Angels, Braves, Dodgers, Mets, Orioles & Yankees
Coverage to Continue Tonight with Blockbuster Doubleheader – Braves at Phillies & Dodgers at Angels – Pregame Starting at 6 p.m. ET
Season to Date, MLB on TBS Tuesdays Viewership Up 40% vs. 2022
Warner Bros. Discovery Sports announced additional game selections for MLB on TBS Tuesdays regular season coverage, including full national telecasts of the Freeway Series (Los Angeles Dodgers vs. LA Angels) and the Subway Series (NY Mets vs. NY Yankees), a special Fourth of July showdown featuring the Angels taking on the San Diego Padres, and games spotlighting the league’s winningest teams and biggest stars.
MLB on TBS will continue its coverage tonight with the network’s first doubleheader of the season, starting with Ronald Acuña, Jr. and the National League-leading Atlanta Braves visiting Bryce Harper and the Philadelphia Phillies at 6:30 p.m. ET. Bob Costas and Ron Darling will be on the call.
Then, at 10 p.m., the Freeway Series takes center stage for the first time this season, as Mike Trout, Shohei Ohtani and the Angels host Mookie Betts, Freddie Freeman and the Dodgers. Brian Andersonand Jeff Francoeur will call the game.
MLB on TBS Lead Off will start at 6 p.m. with host Lauren Shehadi, joined by analysts Curtis Granderson, Pedro Martinez and Jimmy Rollins. The studio team will return following Dodgers vs. Angles for MLB on TBS Closer.
On Wednesday, June 21 the two rival All-Stars, Trout and Betts, will sit down for a candid conversation about life on and off the baseball diamond, to be featured live on Bleacher Report’s newest video podcast, On Base with Mookie Betts. For previous podcasts, visit the B/R app.
Season to date, MLB on TBS’ regular season game coverage has delivered a 40 percent increase in average audience vs. 2022, including a 45 percent increase in female viewership.
TBS will televise 26 Tuesday night games throughout the 2023 regular season with 30-minute pregame and postgame studio shows each week. TBS will also be the exclusive home of the 2023 NLDS and NLCS.
Bleacher Report and its MLB-focused vertical, B/R Walk-Off, will provide round-the-clock coverage and original programming throughout the season including new live shows in the B/R app and batting practice Q&A’s direct from the field of some of the season’s biggest games.
