Dan and myself just got off the phone with the agent we use to get our Mets Panel Guests and we got a good one. It’s definitely someone you guys are going to want to hear some of his stories about his time with the team. I’m going to make the announcement around Labor Day Weekend. Hey @mets it’s pretty dangerous here on the stairs at the rotunda at @CitiField with the giveaway. Going to be very lucky if someone doesn’t get hurt.
— Goon (@Mediagoon) August 26, 2023
We went from the smart move to hand out vouchers to the crowd coming into the stadium as mandated by MLB to the Mets not expecting a logjam of folks trying to get down the stairs in the Rotunda and then trying to get to the one exit that was giving out the baseball giveaway. I didn't grab a pic of it but the Mets got lucky that no one got hurt.

This as if this was made for Hollywood Hulk Hogan. I can't see paying $115 for this.
Quick rundown of getting to to and into Citi Field. No problems at all. No traffic. Could walk right in. Staff friendly and courteous. It was all great. Grabbed a pastrami sandwich. started watching the game. Then we got to the game. This is the second game I feel like the Mets have sucked the life out of me for the second straight games. I mean get its going to worse before it gets better. The fans you can tell feel defeated but yet there was a bigger crowd there then i thought there would be. Diaz bobblehead giveaway of course. I am looking at my remaining games and saying thank goodness I only have three left. Id on't think I could up with more than that.
$45 for a tumbler? Whhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhyyyyyyy????????
That was two tough losses to the Braves yesterday. Besides the bad play on the field it’s starting to come out about how certain players and pitchers didn’t like each other. That there are attitudes in the clubhouse. That folks aren’t gelling. That happens. The funny thing is that a bad clubhouse can be the cause and the effect of not winning. I have been saying this whole season that this team was missing something. That it didn’t have “it”. I couldn’t put my finger on what it was but that “it” wasn’t there. Hopefully the bad cloud and negativity is going to be lifted, but it doesn’t seem that way on the field. The Mets have always been a pitching led team and right now they really don’t have the pitching depth to be that team.
Let’s go Mets in 2024. Play out the string and stop playing embarrassing games.

What’s going on with the Pirates yellow bill?
First of all Wrestlemania is like 8 months away from this game and ti doesn't say anything about what LA Knight is going to be doing there. There doesn't seem like any kind of promotion is going on. It's a few days after Summer Slam. This is baffling to me.
I’m just doing to leave this here for you folks.
