Remember when this would have been a hot ticket item to try to win? Now, is no bids being made yet because the love for Pete Alonso isn’t there anymore? Or is it the fact that the reserve is too high to open with? I think if the reserve was at $1500 that you would get some bids. I know it’s for charity but it seems since the Cohen’s took over the game used stuff and the Amazon Foundation that they try to get the big numbers but are also pricing out the fans.
Anyway this is what you get-
ITEM DESCRIPTION
Hit it out of the ballpark with this Amazin' experience! This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity includes a private hitting lesson for one person with Mets First Baseman and two-time Home Run Derby Champion, Pete Alonso! The 30-minute lesson will take place before a mutually agreeable home game in 2024. This experience will include four Field Level tickets to an agreed upon game. The hitting lesson participant must be between 8-18 years of age. The Mets will reach out to the winning bidder at the close of the auction with all necessary details regarding this experience. Fifty percent of the proceeds for this item will benefit the Amazin' Mets Foundation and the other half will benefit Pete Alonso's Foundation.
