Let’s look At Mets Loyalty Program

As soon as you sign up that gives you 500 points and you are in the prospect area. You get a buy one get one ticket offer too. I have to see if there are any restrictions on what days we are allowed to buy the tickets for.

If you attend games play some interactive games, buy some merch etc you get points.

Get points for buying food from a concessions stand

This is how you get points with purchases.

1500 points gets you free popcorn. Yippee! Free popcorn. I’ll def waste points on that!

Hot dog fries combo at 2500 points. Still not great but what’s this with the next game on us with you and a guest. That’s interesting but where the seats in the uppers?

5000 points free chicken tenders fries ice cream and a beverage.
Next game on the mets for four people. Just curious where those seats will be.

For 10000 points this one is pretty self explanatory.

Overall it’s cool that the Mets have finally done a cool thing for fans and it does seem easy to get points but why roll this out now? Is it because the Mets ticket sales are soft? What about tickets I already have in my app for the rest of the season? Do I get points for that? What about season ticket holders and their half assed loyalty program? Has that gotten any better? I’m just curious how everything else is fitting in. Was this supposed to be rolled out next season and the Mets were like we have the four four $100 game pack and that didn’t move tix. We have reduced parking cost for most weekday games. Frag. We were saving this loyalty perk points thing for next season but let’s try this out now.

My overall thoughts on this is maybe if you hit a certain number of points you can get 10 percent off of merchandise or parking or concessions. This would be a pretty good add on to this. Points don’t see to be unattainable but besides getting tickets for points. I still want to know if they fixed the season ticket holder tier loyalty system.
