Summary
The head of member experience will be responsible for curating experiences and hospitality for a members of a new high-end club that provides unique access to the Mets and related experiences. These will range from gameday experiences at Citi Field (e.g. behind-the-scenes access, seamless ballpark entry and exit) to travel (e.g. private jet travel to an away game with side trips to local attractions) to non-baseball programming (e.g. special access to other sporting or cultural events). This person will build relationships with club members, develop a deep understanding of their preferences, and tailor experiences to surprise and delight them. This person will also advise on the development of new premium club spaces at Citi Field.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Create an annual calendar of unique, money-can't-buy experiences that appeal to members of a new Mets club
- Deliver those experiences by collaborating across the Mets organization, including with Baseball Operations, Ballpark Operations, Food & Beverage, Ticketing, and others
- Develop partnerships with other sports teams, venues, restaurants, private clubs, transportation providers, and others to deliver additional value to members
- Build relationships with current and prospective club members and ensure they have a seamless experience whenever they interact with the Mets
- Ensure members renew
- Support the long-term Mets ultra-premium hospitality strategy, including the development of new spaces and food and beverage partnerships
Qualifications
- At least 10 years of experience creating and delivering premium experiences and/or luxury hospitality in an industry such as hotels, membership clubs, restaurants, travel, sports or similar (Sports experience is not required).
- Extremely high emotional intelligence and attention to detail
- Experience working across functions and influencing/leading without authority
- Highly creative
- Ability to take creative concepts and turn them into successful experiences
- Ability to build strong working relationships at all levels of an organization, from senior leadership to frontline employees
- Experience launching new premium hospitality experiences is preferred
- Unparalleled ability to present to and communicate with high-end clientele
This role is based at Citi Field in Queens, NY, where we work four days/week in the office. This role will also likely involve significant evening and weekend work during the Mets season.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000
