Now some folks say we charge too much for entry and autos. We are also really a mom and pop kind of event where we don't have a ton of sponsors and we do this as a passion project for our fellow Mets fans. Are we happy to do this? Yes. Is it a lot of work? Yes. Do we make money on each event? Not really.
We are glad the Mets realize the fanbase wants a fan fest and we are glad the QBC has been a proof of concept and it's a win win for fans. I hope it's a good event and it is different enough that the QBC and Amazin' Day can live together. Personally am I bummed with all the being told the Mets wanted to talk to us about the QBC? I am. All it has made me and Dan want to do is put on the best QBC yet.

Sorry guys to use that heading but I had no other brain capacity to think of another way of wording it. I’ll get to the short of it. Because of the time of year travel wise Art Shamsky will not make it in person to accept the Gil Hodges Unforgettable Fire Award. Believe it or not Art is 83 years old. Right I never picture him being that age. It’s getting tougher and tougher for him to deal with the airports and also the colder weather up north here and he doesn’t know if he can pull it off. He still might but as for now we will still present the award to Art and someone from his camp will accept it or fingers cross he can come. We’ll keep everyone updated.

Mark C. Healey is the host of the State of the Mets panel and has been a part of the QBC since its inception. Mark has been covering the Mets for a variety of media outlets since 1996, including the Associated Press, Baseball Digest, and SiriusXM Sports. He is the founder of Gotham Baseball, a multimedia outlet since 2005, and is the author of "Gotham Baseball: New York's All-Time Team." He has appeared on ESPN, SNY, and WFAN and is currently the editor-in-chief of The Wave newspaper in Rockaway, New York.
Kelley Franco is making her QBC debut. She is a baseball media entrepreneur, and her company is Three Inning Fan LLC. She hosts her own baseball show, Three Inning Fan – The Podcast with Kelley Franco. She also delivers lively speaking engagements on the past and present of baseball. Follow her on X and Instagram at @threeinningfan for her baseball insights and to catch her “Three Inning Minute” videos, which feature snippets about the legal, transactional, and nostalgic side of the game in one minute each. Kelley has been a guest lecturer at the Baseball Hall of Fame and a baseball contributor on CNN’s Financial Network. Anthony Rivera is a rising star in the Mets content creator space. He is a lifelong, diehard fan of the team from Queens. Anthony hosts and produces the Subway To Shea Podcast, a show by a Mets fan for the Mets fans. He also writes for Rising Apple, a Mets site on the FanSided Network. He has been a regular guest on SNY and is making his second appearance at the QBC.

Etihad Airways was a principal and founding partner of New York City FC in 2014 and has been the club’s front-of-shirt sponsor in each of its first 10 seasons in Major League Soccer.
Etihad Park is finally providing the franchise with a new, soccer-specific home after the club spent its first decade of existence searching for a permanent home. The club has called Yankee Stadium home since its inception but has often been forced to play matches elsewhere, like at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, NJ, or at Citi Field, which will host the team’s Eastern Conference semifinal against the rival Red Bulls on Saturday.
The stadium, which is projected to seat 25,000 fans, is the centerpiece of a project at the Willets Point site across from Citi Field that will also feature a 2,500-unit affordable housing complex, a 650-seat elementary school, a 250-room hotel, retail space, and roughly 40,000 square feet of public open space.
