A letter from The Founder of EBBETS FIELD FLANNELS

 

Ebbets Field Flannels was acquired by Lids through their parent company Ames Watson in late 2021, but I and our co-founder Lisa Cooper remain heavily engaged, and our passion for authentic, vintage sportswear is still going strong.

Who owns Lids?  Lids, the sports apparel retailer, is majority owned by Fanatics Inc., with Ames Watson Capital LLC holding a minority stake and rapper Meek Mill also having an ownership stake. 

Again Fanatics really is more and more of a monopoly in the sports world.
